Life is full of challenges yes? If life is in existance with the absences of challenge, then perhaps it is no life at all. But ironically all of us do crave for a life with minimal or maybe no challenge at all. Carefree, able to do things without any repurcussions or impact whatsoever, all things in life just literally become easy.
Ok, wake up.
We cannot let ourselves wanting such a life can we? I do believe that in life we need that challenge to keep us going, to keep us literally alive. A human without a vision, without predicament is just probably somebody who has lost touch with mother earth, perhaps just hollow inside.
We all do have life challenges, and it could range from the biggest problem that someone could get from our universe or it could be just trivial matters, and with the way we handle these challenges determines whether we could maintain our sanity or go bonkers. I have my own trivial challenges... I really do. And these are just some of the trivial challenges that I face every single working day(weekends may not apply).
1)
Leaving for work on time. You guessed it, its being punctual about leaving the house in order to make it to the clock-in machine at work. It's my first challenge of the day. Now, in order to be on time I have to make sure whatever I do in the morning doesn't occupy me be late. Among the things that would delay me: my aunt's cat, waiting in front of the door to go out while knowing that I'm leaving the house. We don't let her out of the house see, and she waits for me to open the door so she could go out for a while, even for a minute. If she does slipped pass me by when I open the door, there's gonna be chasing around for me..and I'd be late!
2)
Avoiding Traffic JamEvery KL citizen's nightmare. Traffic jam. I have to admit I have stopped enduring traffic jams when the enlarged the Bangi exit. So the only challenge that I could meet is the traffic jam at the North South highway...though this only bears low probability, since I'm heading towards Seremban.
3)
Choosing what to eat for breakfastDamn straight...being a factory worker, you have the same old cafeteria every single F ing day. Its either fried rice with fried chicken, or maybe
nasi campur or maybe even wantan mee. But this is one of those challenges in my daily life where it becomes very dull yet still a challenge to go through every day. Why? You still gotta eat to get the day moving. And we factory workers are not spoiled for choices...believe you me.
4)
What to say in my daily report meetingsWe who work in a japanese company are forced (yes, forced) to tell our progress in front of everyone in the department. There are times where we are overwhelmed with work, which is fine. But everyone knows, there are times of the year where you don't have any work to do, what do you say? This is one of my challenges my friend. Even when there is work, you have to think about what to say, you gotta make sure the things you say are right or not...someone's gonna be pissed...
5)
WorkEnough said.
6)"
Do I get to go back early?"I always have to face the challenge of whether I get to go back early because being in a Japanese company, going back on time is not a norm. And going back late at least one hour feels like going back on time. When you do want to go back on time, you gotta say this to your boss :" Boss, I'm going back early today" which means you're going back on the dot. Not earlier than expected.
7)
"If I eat this...."One more challenge of my daily life is to maintain my weight(yes, I do not want to be obese, or boroi). I always have to think about how my daily diet is suppose to be, and my trick now is to have only one heavy meal a day the rest of them are just snacks. And there times when gluttony can overwhelm you especially when the cafeteria suprises everyone with good food (right..). But yes, this is also a challenge to me because I always have to keep dieting in mind. And I can't recall the last time I went to the gym.hmm...
Ok, enough ranting...gotta work. Thanks for reading!
